About us

Caducus Folium is an international company with locations in the United States, Costa Rica, Honduras, Colombia, and Ecuador. With more than 10 years in the design industry, Caducus Folium is known for offering a wide variety of high-quality products, providing guidance from the initial design concept to installation.

Caducus Folium is made up of Mili León, Paulina Ramos, and Lucianna Ballesteros. Our goal is to bring our clients’ visions to life, guiding them step by step to ensure the final result is a success. Our style is contemporary, and our essence is timeless; we create spaces that transcend time in both quality and style, adding trendy and cutting-edge accents to keep them fresh and innovative. We travel frequently to major design and furniture fairs, at least twice a year, which helps us stay on top of global trends and apply them to our projects.

Our process is clear: First, we get to know our clients in depth, understanding their needs, preferences, and lifestyle. Then, we start the creative process and present a proposal with our interpretation of the design, ideas, and suggestions. We collaborate with clients, going back and forth until we all agree on the result. The next step is making the project a reality, taking care of the entire installation and styling process, from the first step to the last vase. While we mainly work in Quito, we also take on projects in other cities across the country.

Arq. Mili León

I am an architect, graduated from the Universidad San Francisco de Quito. While I love architecture, interior design has become my true passion. I’ve been working in this industry for over 12 years, completing projects of all kinds, including residences, restaurants, and offices. I specialize in residential projects, and one of my main goals is to create my clients' dream homes.

Caducus Folium+ has provided us with a platform to explore international design and constantly research new trends, which we always adapt to our context and the needs of our diverse clients. Every new client is a new world, and that’s what I love about this job.

We are committed to managing projects from start to finish, ensuring they reach their full potential. We offer constant support to both the client and the contractor, and we take pride in working to the highest standards of quality and trust.

I was born in the city of Quito, where I have developed my professional career and where I currently live.

I am a Civil Engineer, graduated from the Central University of Ecuador with a specialization in Structures, and I also hold a professional Real Estate Broker's license. I worked for many years in a Mutualist company that developed real estate projects, where my love for decoration began, as one of my many responsibilities was decorating model apartments.

Quito is a cosmopolitan city that is rapidly changing and evolving, which pushes you to keep up with its pace, constantly requiring you to learn new techniques, programs, and concepts to carry out your work in the most professional way.

Traveling and experiencing different cities, cultures, people, and traditions transforms your way of thinking and encourages the application of new concepts, forms, and colors, giving your work an international perspective, which benefits your clients.

Lucianna Ballesteros

I am an Interior Designer, graduated from the Universidad San Francisco de Quito. Additionally, I hold a Master's degree in Furniture Design, which I earned at the Florence Institute of Design International during my year living in Florence, Italy. My style evolves significantly over time; I like to think forward and take risks.

I love that my profession allows me to improve people's quality of life. I have the opportunity to design their surroundings and shape their experiences, moments, and memories. It may seem like a superficial change, but it goes much deeper than that—creating the backdrop for people's lives is truly an honor.

My love for Interior Design began at home with my mother, who generously passed down her taste and style to me. She gave me the freedom to explore and create my own spaces from a young age. I’ve always sought different ways to express my creativity, which has driven me to be resourceful in learning programs and skills that allow me to do it on my own.
